Homophobia is something i feel very strongly about. I don’t and can’t understand why people “don’t agree with homosexuality”. To me, homophobia is exactly the same as sexism or racism. Does it really matter who people like or fall in love with? Love is the same whether it’s between two girls,two boys, one of each, transsexuals, transgenders, or anyone else. When i hear about parents who disown their kids because they’re LGBT, I just can’t seem to get my head around how someone could treat others differently because of who they fall in love with. It sickens me. People are bullied for being gay. People are bullied because they think they’re gay. The word “gay” is used constantly as an insult. People commit suicide, because they’re scared to tell their parents that they’re LGBT. I can’t imagine what must go on in peoples heads for them to think this is OK.
